Sound Systems and Performance – El Copeland

1Started in 1979 with my first 8 track room in a week I did demos for Anita Baker with writer James Mc bride and a record with drummer Dave Ghrol and his band Dain Bramage. Has worked at every club in dc mixing live as well. Started touring with Nothingface as well during their signing stages and work with artist from Prince to The ROOTS, also at venues including the Kennedy Center for the Preforming Arts, The National Council for the Performing Arts. The Smithsonian as well.  Check out El in the middle of the South Mountain International Blues Festival field.



Live Celebrity Interviews -CC Minton

2This year as our performers arrive we will have our SMIBF Performers Studio celebrity interviewer CC Minton whose history has included personal interviews with high profile notables include  Judge “Greg” Mathis, Shark Tanks lemonade entrepreneur Mikaila Ulmer, 2016 Olympic hurdler Kristi Castlin, International Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Restaurateur Alexander Smalls of Harlem’s historic Minton’s Playhouse, Celebrity Chef Lance Knowling, and Harlem Run Founder Alison Desir.  She has covered NYC charity events whose guest included fashion icon Stephen Burrows, B-Smith, Cicely Tyson, Common, Nick Cannon, and Alicia Keys. CC will interview our South Mountain International Blues Festival performers and celebrities to capture their thoughts and excitement as they prepare for their performances. Live Celebrity Blogger – Patricia Rogers

3Patricia Rogers will be our South Mountain International Blues Festival Live Celebrity Blogger and Writer -She has extensive experience interviewing and blogging about hundreds of personalities for her widely read blog.  Greeting Performers and Festival Dignitaries and blogging to her thousands of Masconsumption Media Readers real time is the game.   Meet Patricia greeting and interviewing folks backstage at the South Mountain International Blues Festival Green Room.

4This year we are endeavoring to recognized our photographers for all the good work they have done over the years.  We would love to display your work and give the proper recognition. 6Providing Performer and Celebrity Interviewers Video and Camera and Graphic Editing Services this year will be G2BPrroductions. A videographer and motion graphic designer who likes to design cool things and make them move in interesting ways to tell a story. Greg has extensive experience with companies and brands such as Uniqlo, Travel Channel, History Channel, CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, Dentsu America, and more
